I'm the owner of Mile High Tide. We are a sales consulting company. I have been in sales, leadership and ownership positions for the last 20+ years with businesses that focused on revenue generation and census growth. I started Mile High Tide in 2017 to work directly with clients to focus on sales teams and revenue generation specifically. This makes the most sense (and dollars) to bring in a consultant when we can generate 10x or more of the cost of the investment. Revenue is the lifeblood of an organization and that why MHT focuses solely on this department in organizations.
In 2019, we were hired by a PACE organization (Program of All-Inclusive Care for Elderly) to work with the outreach and intake team to to have better engagement and guide qualified seniors to join the program.
So, why are we PACE focused today? We believe in the PACE model and mission. We quickly realized working for a PACE organization in 2019 that the alternative for PACE eligible participants is for the state to be the care partner. In early 2019 I was fortunate to work with a PACE organization to help with their enrollment team to manage them, build systems, do a reorganization of roles and create a motivating comp plan to drive census. My company spent the next 3 ½ years with that organization as an acting enrollment manager through COVID and beyond. During that time, MHT was heavily involved every aspect of the PACE enrollment process. From hiring and firing, training and coaching, systems development and team engagement. We ended up increasing enrollments from 2.5 to 6.2 per rep per month and hit census goals for 2021 and 2022. And… I fell in love with the model and the mission. We decided to make supporting PACE organizations to bring this great healthcare model to every corner of the country the focus of Mile High Tide.
So, why the name Mile High Tide? I have always been a fan of JFK’s quote "a rising tide lifts all ships." Our philosophy is by raising each person on the team, the team becomes great. The mission of MHT is to work with each person to raise their individual performance by helping them be better personally and professionally creates great teams personally and professionally. The goal to have everyone row in unison to a common goal, achieve it and celebrate.
This philosophy is translated into my mantra, “Mindset Matters, Action Required”. With the right mindset and daily habits, miracles can literally happen. I have been fortunate to experience President’s Clubs, company growth from 1 to 14 locations in 16 months, businesses launching from opening one location to acquiring two more in a few short years and most recently helping PACE organization reach big audacious census goals. My mantra combined with consistent focus, tools, systems, coaching and throwing in a little humor (big Ted Lasso fan) has and will produced awesome, championship caliber teams.
I live in wine country north of San Francisco with my beautiful wife Lisa and dog Lily. We enjoy tennis, snow skiing, running, laughing and sipping a little wine in the cool California evenings. Lily enjoys treats, walks and trying to catch rats.
